Email Options

Collin should be getting an email address in the next week or so, but for those that would like to email him now you can go to www.DearElder.com . Use the Provo MTC link and fill in the required info.. His MTC # is 324 and his mission is ARG-BAW with an 03/30 expected departure date. The email will be printed out, and delivered to the MTC on the next day by 12:00 noon.

What happened on Wednesday

The MTC has changed the way they do things.  When Bryce left on his mission all the families gathered inside, watched a movie together, were encouraged to quickly say their goodbyes and then the missionaries went out one door and the families went out the other. 

Now, for whatever the reason, families do not come inside at all.  You drop them off curb-side.  Mom was expecting to drive up, have Collin hop out, and then drive away.

Because of this, they (Mom, Collin, Brianna & Ryan, Joanna, Lauren & Megan) met up at a parking lot close to the MTC to say their farewells, without being rushed.  Then instead of dropping him at the drive-thru, they all walked down the hill together and watched him walk into the MTC.

Please note the following items:
1. Your missionary's service began today. Please do not arrange or request visits with your missionary, including meetings at the temple or in proximity to the MTC.
2. All missionary mail must come through the US Mail or commercial delivery services. Hand delivered items will NOT be accepted. Do not send pizzas, fast foods, ice-cream, or any items that will spoil if they are not refrigerated within 24 hours. Missionaries are not called out of class to receive packages, nor do they have access to a refrigerator.
3. Communicate with your missionary weekly through letters sent to the above address or through the email account that the missionary will set up within the first two weeks. This account is to be used by immediate family only. Telephone calls for missionaries cannot be accepted. Your missionary will correspond with you on his/her first preparation day.
4. Families and friends should not plan to visit missionaries departing to their field of labor at the airport or MTC.
